On this page you will find honest, concise evaluations of our different medical strains. An independant judge in house cannabis snob will give his assessment of the smell, flavor, look, and potency of each new strain we add.

 Because each individual has different needs, we suggest you take these ratings as a mere guideline to assist you in making your choice in medicines. Just another way of showing you that we care.

The webmaster (me) is also the reviewer. A medical MJ user since the passage of Prop 215 in 1996, I feel completely qualified to give my review of strains. That being said, these are only my opinions. As they say in the car biz, your mileage may vary. Just know that I will give my honest opinion (both good and bad) about every strain I review. I encourage all our patients to visit the forum and post your own reviews. This is a community of FRNDS, we're all here for each other.

Green Crack

One of my ALL TIME favorites, this is the cream of the crop. I am openly not a fan of Sativas, but this is the exception they say follows every rule.

Smell 9/10
The smell is unique to the Green Crack and it's wonderful. Like a skunk eating fruit...or something.

Taste: 8.5/10
Tastes like the fruit (see above)

Look: 9/10
Nugs the size of a small animal...and nearly as hairy.
 
Potency: 15/10
Trying to write review, concentration is difficult, can't feel my face. Wow.

Overall: 9.5/10
10 out of 10 is like the perfect golf swing, unattainable. This comes as close to perfection as you'll find. I really really (did I mention really?) like this stuff.

White Widow

A strain from our "classics collection", White widow is a classic sativa. A nice strain that you know by name.

Smell 8/10
You'll smell it through the bag (in your dresser, under your socks). "Sativa-ey" fragrance permeates.

Taste: 7.5/10
Well cured and smooth to the palette, she's a friendly smoke.

Look: 7.5/10
Hairs on top of hairs. All orange and pretty. Nice.
 
Potency: 8.5/10
Prepare to be kicked in the back of the head. The initial rush is almost confusing, followed by that good ol' sativa energy.

Overall: 8/10
Gets an 8 for the sativa potency alone (doesn't hurt that we are the ONLY ones with this phenotype). From our private stash...to you. Enjoy, we did.

 
Bubble Gum

Bubble Gum is a Indiana born Indica. Brought to the mainstream by a Dutch seed company in the early 1990's

Smell 8.5/10
Smells just like bubble gum. It's called Bubble Gum. Coincidence? Not dank like a kush, but definitely unique.

Taste: 7.5/10
On the first inhale you'll KNOW you've got a decent indica. Tastes like a bubble gum/kush smoothie.

Look: 7/10
Buds are nice and dark green, not too many orange hairs. Fairly lightweight buds covered with resin
 
Potency: 8/10
A kush cross breed, you either like 'em or you don't. Not as good as the regualr OG Kush, better than the OGXJH (if it's an indica you're looking for).

Overall: 7.5/10
What I like to refer to as a collector's smoke. The unique flavor is a real nice treat, but the OG kush just can't be beat.

Jack Herer

Jack Herer is a strain that originated in Holland by Sensi Seed Bank. It is a hybrid from three of the strongest sativas kept by Sensi (Skunk #1 X Northern Lights #5 X Haze).

This strain gets its name in honor of Jack Herer, the author of "The Emporer Wears No Clothes" a book that aims to decriminalize cannabis.

Smell: 10/10
Dank, intensely heavy smell holds true to Herer's Skunk heritage

Taste: 8/10
Has the typical "sativa" taste. Smooth and easy, no caughing required.

Look: 8/10
Glistening with resin, the way MMJ should look.

Potency:
8.5/10
A very nice "up" high. Very cerebral and motivated. A perfect mid-day pain-killer.

Overall:8/10
Definitely a "top shelf" medication for the sativa lovers. JH is a classic strain which rarely fails to satisfy even the pickiest of sativa smokers.
 

OG Master Kush

The reason I haven't reviewed anything in a LONG time...

Smell 8.5/10
Ever smelled Master Kush? Yeah, this is it. Don't worry, it'll be gone soon (the MK, not the smell).

Taste: 9/10
Flavor on top of flavor, covered by flavor, smothered in...flavor. The way I like my Waffle House Hash Browns.

Look: 7/10
LAN - Little Awesome Nugs. A 7, the lowest rating you're gonna see in this review
 
Potency: 9/10
Should come with training wheels and a binkie. This stuff is seriously going to put a damper on those house-cleaning plans.


Overall: 9/10

Princess

Princess is a indica dominant hybrid. A cross of Green Crack and Jack Herer, it's origins are thought to be Northern California.

Smell 7/10
Holds the Green Crack/Indica smell without even a hint of sativa aroma.

Taste: 8/10
The second you first inhale you're hit with that familiar "kush" feeling. Very expansive, so caution is advised at the beginning (lest a caughing bout ensue).

Look: 8/10
Nice dense nugs with a light green tint. Orange hairs and loaded with crystals.

Potency: 9/10
Definitely a kush, there's no mistaking it. You'll feel it behind your eyes initially as it begins to move through your body. Instant relaxation, a "one hitter, quitter". I'd never tried Princess before, but she's true royalty.

Overall: 8/10
If you're like me and love your indicas, this one's for you. You will not be disappointed.
 

OG Kush

OG Kush is a North American Classic. Thought to descend from the original "Chem Dawg", kush was brought to the Pacific Northwest and labeled "OG Kush", the OG standing for "Ocean Grown". A 100% indica...brace yourself.

Smell: 6/10

Honestly, a little disappointing given the genetics. Still has the familiar kush smell, just fairly moderated.

Taste: 8/10

Two words: Kushy Kusherson. Regulars to this strain will IMMEDIATELY reckognize the OG taste. No need for more explanation than that.

Look: 7/10
Obviously well dried and cured. Nice shade of green with orange hairs.

Potency: 9.5/10
This is where she shines. Truly a "I can't feel my face" medicine. The warning on the side of the bag should say, "Don't make any plans". As a fan of OG Kush myself, I'll tell you this is the real deal.

Overall: 8.5/10

I'll admit to a little West Coast bias on this one. OG Kush is one of my favorite strains, and this is a very nice example. Compares favorably to the OG Kush sold in Hollywood under boutique names ("818 Kush", "Valley Kush", ETC)
